Hi! My name is Taylor and I'm from St. Louis, MO! I am a registered nurse & Dr. Shock's first surgical assist.
About Taylor
I have two bachelor's degrees, one in public health from Lindenwood University and one from Mizzou’s accelerated nursing program, graduating with my BSN! I am dedicated to provide compassionate care to patients undergoing plastic surgery procedures. Witnessing the positive impact these surgeries can have on patients' self-esteem and quality of life is incredibly rewarding. I am committed to ensuring each patient receives the highest standard of care throughout their surgical journey, from preoperative preparation to postoperative recovery. I chose a career in nursing because I have the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives for the better.

I am currently pursuing my bachelors degree in Biological Sciences with a Medical emphasis at the univeristy of missouri. I grew up in perryville, mo. I aspire to be a Physician Assistant in Plastic surgery. My goal at Shock Plastic Surgery is to ensure your visit is smooth, efficient, and stress free. I'm very excited for what the future holds! About Shelby
With over 7 years of experience in healthcare, I am passionate about helping patients through every step of their journey. I moved to Columbia in 2019 to pursue my education and career, earning degrees from Columbia College and the Atlanta School of Sleep Medicine and Technology. My experience spans across multiple specialties: 2.5 years as a certified medical assistant in plastic surgery and over 4 years as a registered polysomnographic technoligist. After gaining invaluable experience in sleep medicine, I was drawn back to the field of plastic surgery, where I now work alongside Dr. Shock and our incredible patient community.
