Vascular Lesions
Struggling with broken capillaries or small unsightly veins?
What is a Long Pulse YAG laser?
The Long Pulsed YAG laser is a quick and effective procedure which allows precise treatment of visible vessels, broken capillaries, spider veins, cherry angiomas, and vascular lesions by using laser energy. Once the laser light is applied to the skin, it enters the vessel, where the energy from the laser is absorbed and the vessel walls collapse and seal shut, eliminating its appearance on the skin.
What can be treated?
• Telangiectasias or broken capillaries
• Cherry angiomas
• Spider veins
• Small leg veins
Pre-Treatment:
Discontinue any medications or supplements that may thin your blood (NSAIDS, asprin, fish oil, vitamin E, herbal supplements), unless prescribed by a physician, 3 days prior to and following treatment.
