Scar Revisions

Trauma to the skin from surgeries or accidents can cause scars that are sometimes a cosmetic concern. They can also be uncomfortable, tight, raised, or even painful. In addition, a person’s genetics can cause them to develop keloid or hypertrophic scarring. 

With all of her surgeries, Dr. Shock uses multiple techniques to try to keep scarring as cosmetically favorable and un-noticeable as possible. Topical products, injections and surgical scar revisions are all options that Dr. Shock can use to improve the appearance of scarring. During your consultation, she can evaluate your scar(s) to determine the optimal treatments.
